The
applications come equipped with a built-in
banner ads URLs database. When it encounters
a banner URL that matches a value in its
database, the corresponding banner will not
be loaded, and web pages load faster as a
result. Moreover, the ads blocker is capable
of detecting the unnecessary banners using
other techniques, like checking for the
standard banner dimensions, monitoring web
page graphics that refer to other web sites
and so on.
In
addition, you can manually include specific
web sites that produce nagging banner ads
into the program's black list. For this
purpose, be sure to utilize the context menu
of Internet Explorer that appears when you
right-click its window.
The
program is capable of adding all the
banner URLs from the selected text area of
the web page to the application blacklist.
Next
time when you load the web page, the
blacklisted banner ads are missing.
The
program provides an export/import capability
allowing you to share your banner ads
blacklists with your friends or fellow
workers.
The
ads blocking feature will allow you to save
your time since the pages will load faster
without the annoying graphics, and will make
the web resources more informative.
