SoftInform was founded in 1995. The company works in the field of information technology. It specializes in technologies of searching, storing and handling of unstructured information. From 1995 to 1998, the company was engaged in the development and promotion of software products based on its proprietary DBMS LeoBase. At present, the company's main direction is the development of internet technologies, including technologies of internet advertising and electronic data
distribution.
At present, the company’s main activity is the development and promotion of the Offliner project – a line of Internet-based software products for home and office use. All the Offliner products are powered by our proprietary technologies. Some of technologies are protected by patents (WIPO patent applications
WO 02/065333 and WO 02/075620).
Future Outlook
In the future, the company is going to implement the Rental Center project, which will provide a new method of distribution and promotion of software and other electronic data (video and audio files, e-books, etc.) over the Internet. The business model of the Rental Center has been patented (WIPO patent application
